Let Me Tell You a Few Things About Me and My Purpose

My name is Celine. I was born in Beijing, China, but grew up in the Netherlands. After completing my Master's in Strategic Management and Innovation Management, I started working in marketing and sales at multinational companies. I was fortunate enough to travel nearly every month for work, often flying business class and staying in 5-star hotels. This sparked my interest in luxury travel.

Exploring the world and experiencing different cultures gives me immense joy and satisfaction, and it’s basically my main motivation for working hard! After getting married, I was worried that I would lose the ability to travel frequently after having a child. That’s also the reason why I became a mom relatively late, at the age of 35. When my daughter, Evelyn, was born, I realized that continuing to explore the world is still very much possible—contrary to what some may say—but it just requires better planning!

I am 40 years old and have visited 71 countries. Our daughter, Evelyn, is 4 years old and has visited 20 countries across 4 continents. We follow the Dutch education system. She started school in 2024, though at the age of 4, school attendance is still not mandatory by law in the Netherlands. This gives us the freedom to travel whenever we can. Later this year, she will turn 5, and the situation will change. She will only be allowed to take vacations during school holidays, but I don’t see this as a problem. There are plenty of school holidays each year, albeit with a higher price tag for travel. So, we will continue to travel as a family, providing her with a broad horizon of the world.

In 2025, we have the following destinations lined up for our family trips: Switzerland, Egypt, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Greenland, Iceland, Italy, the Azores and the US.
